Pan Theater

Improv Comedy Shows in Oakland

(Katie, Jeff and Rachel Pan - 2011)

Once per quarter Pan's training troupes perform...

Our
training troupes practice and rehearse for ten weeks and at the end of each ten week cycle get on stage. They bring their best improv comedy to the stage

Our short form troupes perform typical theater games such as: New Choice, the Alphabet Scene, and "No S".

Our long form troupes will typically present a Harold or Montage. Occasionally they will work a One Act, or other long form format.

It’s an exciting time at Pan Theater. For many of the performers it is their first improv performance, or their first long form performance. There is an energy and excitement about the First Time.

We have our training troupes either open or close for our house teams.

There will be a lot of new audience members, performers and guests at Pan Theater. It makes for an exciting night. It also presses our veterans to keep their skills sharp as they see all the new and rising talent take to the stage.

It is an exciting month at Pan, and this weekend will see a lot of great improv comedy. The troupes will make Pan the best place to be for comedy improv in the East Bay this weekend
