Improv 301 - Advanced Improv

Ten-to-Twenty Minutes in Paradise. This class focuses on close collaboration, deep listening and mindful intention. The result will be ten-to-twenty-minute one-act plays. Students will follow less a set improv format (Harold, Deconstruction, etc.) and more a set of actions (verbs) and theatrical conventions (narration, dream sequences, musical numbers, etc.). The whole shmegegge will be grounded in a rigorous application of ensemble skills. Students and teacher alike will opt for candor, character, humor and well-being. Everyone will be pushed beyond their comfort zones, and no one will regret it.

Everyone will be pushed beyond their comfort zones, and no one will regret it.
