"Mike Dempsey has been acting, directing and improvising for more than thirty years. He holds an M.A. in Directing from U.C. Berkeley, and has directed dozens of productions and coached numerous improv ensembles across the country, including ImprovBoston, Annex Improv (Seattle) and The Brody Theatre (Portland). Locally, he has worked with BATS Improv and The Milkman’s Other Kids (Berkeley). Mike has taught acting and improv at Cal, St. Mary’s College and the California College of the Arts. His focus is ensemble work and developing improvisors as actors.
