From Her Perspective- an all female
cast- Dramedy and Comma Show
Pan Theater's April 16th show will be
from her perspective. Watch as women from our advanced performing troupe
perform Dramedy and Comma on their own. No men will be allowed on stage
for this performance. It is guaranteed to be bold, witty, and
irreverent. They'll prove women improvisers need men like a fish needs a
bicycle.

Pan Theater's February shows were a
great success. We had yet another standing room only crowd on February
26th. February 26th also marked our three year anniversary. We have
begun to work on plans for adding an additional performing troupe in the
summer of 2005 and we have also begun work on the first annual- Pan's
Ten for Ten Minute Play Festival. It is starting to be another great
year!
2/11/2005
Pan Theater's January auditions were a
great success. We had our largest audition turnout to date. We added
eight people to our performing troupes: Trish, Carrie, Harris, Alan,
Eric, Jen K., Jen J., and Morgan. Thanks to everyone that auditioned and
congratulations to our new troupe members! Be sure to watch for them at
our shows.
Our February shows are scheduled for the 19th and 26th. The 26th will
mark our three year anniversary. Just think it all started three years
ago at the 21 Grand Art Studio. Thanks to all of those that have
performed with us, studied in our classes and seen our shows. We're sure
the next three years will be even better!
1/25/2005

will be celebrated at our February 26th show. Help us celebrate three
years of providing improv by the people for the people to the San

those who stay for both shows. This also marks the first year
anniversary of our Saturday troupe.

Pan Theater's 2005 season kickoff was
a great success. It was a great audience, a great show and a great
night. Everyone had tons of fun. It was the debut of Pan Theater's small
troupe with a wonderfully exciting and fantastically funny short form
set. The long form second half explored cartoons, politics and breakfast
food. There were smurfs, tech school graduates and superheroes. Wow. The
next show promises to be even better.

expanded number of beginning improv classes starting on January 29th of
2005. The response to our initial Improv Basics class (October 2004) has
proven an interest in our teaching methods and style. We are planning
additional advanced improv and acting classes to begin in February for
those with prior training. Pan Theater wants to provide an East Bay
location for those new to improv to learn and grow from beginner to
performer.

Pan Theater's show schedule for 2005
is released. Based on the overwhelming success of our 2004 production
season that began in early June of 2004 and included over 12 shows we
will be increasing our production schedule for 2005 to 30+ shows for the
year. Our last San Francisco show included both short form and long form
sets and an all Pan Theater improv jam.
We will also be introducing both late and early shows to our schedule.
The early shows will begin at 7pm and provide the chance for our new
performers to get live stage experience. Our late night shows will
provide the opportunity for smaller groups from our current troupes and
our Sunday afternoon troupe the chance perform.
Note: Early and late show dates and times will be added in late
February.
