Take your improv
and acting to a more advanced level. The small and relaxed class setting
will provide the you with the opportunity to receive extensive feedback
while deepening your understanding of improv and acting. Course material
includes theater games, skill building exercises, and related acting
exercises. Upon completion of the class students, will be ready
for more advanced exploration of long form and scene work.
Advanced classes focus on longer scenes and multiple
scene stories (improvised plays).
The focus will
be on incorporating basic improv techniques with some more advanced
acting techniques. This class provides beginning groundwork for
exploration of long form technique.Students
will acquire a deeper understanding of the elements of a good
improvised scene and a stronger understanding of the basics of improv.

Note: This
session will include a full Dramedy and Comma performance. The
performance is optional for those that choose not to perform. Those
performing will be chosen from class members. The in class workshop
performance will be used as the audition for the final performance.
The final performance is limited to seven performers and will
include an additional rehearsal and Sunday evening performance.
Those
attending the final performance will have the option for auditioning
for Pan Theater performing troupes (using the final performance as
an audition).
Note: This class is for those who have already begun
studying improv. Our Improv Basics
class is for those new to improv and acting.
